She started her on-air career at the iconic WIFE Radio in 1978 before moving to WNAP as part of the Morning Team, making her the first woman to have a major role on a radio morning show in Indianapolis.

Four years later she became the first on-air person hired at the new WPDS TV Channel 59 (now FOX 59 WXIN).  Ann was an anchor/reporter and Public Affairs Director before transitioning several years later to News Director at Network Indiana, a statewide radio network.

Ann returned to morning drive radio first at 99.5 WZPL Radio as News Director and morning show co-host and then at 97.1 WENS Radio where she spent 9 years as co-host of the morning show and News Director.  While at WENS Ann helped raise more than 2 million dollars for Riley Hospital for Children during the 7 years that she hosted a 97 hour radiothon for Riley.

Beginning in 2003 she co-hosted the morning show for 5 years at 100.9 WYJZ with her husband John.

Ann and John became entrepreneurial towards the end of their Indianapolis radio careers and they have owned and operated numerous businesses.

Ann still performs voiceover work in addition to being an author and writer.
