Redman added, “When something happens is when you have a true test of how good a policy or agent you have. Damage to a home from wind or hail can exceed $100,000 and is very costly. If the homeowner has a 1% deductible on wind or hail damage that exceeds $100,000, that can be a $10,000 deductible that the homeowner is not prepared to pay.” HVR deals with every insurance company on a daily basis every year and has extensive knowledge in how the companies work in regard to estimating and processing claims. The adjuster puts the relative information in a software program that determines the price, and that is the price that we have to do the work for. If there is a defect discovered after installation, the manufacturer will offer a certificate to cover the cost of purchasing the replacement shingles.
