We've always loved the The Waterpark at the Monon Community Center in Carmel, Indiana. It's a go-to destination for us each summer, but we had never explored the inside of Carmel Clay Parks and Recreation's beautiful Monon Community Center, nor the outdoor walking trails, until earlier this week. Oh my were we impressed! It's an oasis for the entire family! The indoor aquatics area, complete with a lap pool and fun activity pool for the kiddos, is simply amazing. Plus there is a gorgeous gymnasium with basketball courts, a fitness center with state of the art equipment, an indoor track, a Kidzone, fitness classes, dance classes, an art studio, an outdoor skate park, nature trails and so much more! Our crew loved exploring all the different features! The were most amazed by the family locker room! It's the little things in life, peeps. Oh, and the views! Amazing views around every corner of Carmel's Monon Community Center! You can enjoy the nature trails throughout the grounds, pass through on a stroll on the Monon Trail or sit and enjoy a little of bit nature from one of the many spots in and around the center. We are thrilled to share that you too can explore Carmel's Monon Community Center for FREE! This Saturday (May 2nd) from 1-3 p.m. during Carmel Clay Parks and Recreation's Program Palooza event! How cool is that, peeps?! Explore many of the super cool facets and programs of this amazing local family fun destination for FREE! There will be activities you can try out and ones you can check out. The indoor activity pool includes one of the "try it out" features, so bring your swim suits! Or maybe line dancing is more your style! You can try that too! Plus snacks, FREE massages, giveaways and some yummy local food trucks will be on-site! I can't think of a better way to spend a Saturday afternoon!
