Driven by a Passion for Speed and Technology

Max Miller, founder of SIMRGEN, brings a wealth of experience, creativity and technical expertise to his racing simulator company. With a deep passion for motorsports and a background in innovative technology, Miller has combined his skills to create an immersive racing experience unlike any other. His leadership has driven SIMRGEN to become a standout company in the industry, offering state-of-the-art simulators that capture the precision and excitement of real-life racing. Through Miller’s vision, SIMRGEN continues to push the boundaries of virtual racing, delivering high-quality experiences for enthusiasts of all skill levels.

Miller’s journey began at age five with a slot car gifted by his father, igniting his lifelong passion for cars, racing and motorsports. Growing up around his father’s Land Rover, Nissan and Mercedes-Benz commercial dealerships, Miller developed both an entrepreneurial spirit and a strong understanding of the automotive industry. This early exposure laid the foundation for his future ventures, blending his love for racing with sharp business acumen.

“At the age of 22, I created the first 30,000-square-foot track and club for radio-controlled gas/nitro-powered cars,” Miller shared. “I sold and repaired radio-controlled cars and organized races.”

After traveling to 16 countries and 50 major cities worldwide and living in prestigious locations across Europe, the Middle East and North America, Max Miller gained valuable experience working for both Fortune 150 companies and a multibillion-dollar private corporation. Having earned an MBA in innovation and entrepreneurship, Miller has had three successful startups and is excited about the launch of his latest endeavor: SIMRGEN.

“I came to the U.S. and worked for a corporation for 12 years before I decided to leave the corporate world and start my own business, despite all of the ‘nos’ that I got from a lot of people, financial institutions and so on. I wanted to do something that I love, and I am glad that I’ve opened this.”

Specialized Custom Builds and Experiences

SIMRGEN’s Carmel headquarters and showroom are a testament to Max Miller’s ingenuity and technical expertise. Featuring a tribute to racing, with a special nod to the Indianapolis 500, the space showcases the evolution of motorsports. Through the cutting-edge simulators on-site, guests and members can experience the immersive thrill and realism of high-speed racing on the world’s most extraordinary racetracks in a myriad of popular marques.

The pièce de résistance in Miller’s showroom boasts a 57-inch central monitor flanked by two 32-inch side monitors and a 27-inch display on top, providing a nearly 180-degree view. This simulator features Ferrari parts: seat, chassis, headset, steering wheel, etc., creating a cohesive and authentic feel. With iRacing software, one of the best simulation platforms available, combined with realistic pedals and a hand rig for rally racing, the entire system offers a uniquely immersive experience that closely mirrors the sensation of driving a real car.

“It is as close as it gets to the way [a race car] drives and feels,” Miller said. “That’s what makes it unique. You can change the [track] elements with this software. The [features] tracks are measured by laser, so the simulated [tracks] are accurate enough that professional drivers practice on these simulators because they are very accurate. The ‘cars’ are very close to reality in the way they drive and sound. The intensity of the feedback, particularly on the steering wheel, can also be adjusted.”

Miller explained that all of his simulators are custom-built, differentiating his [simulators] from the “cookie-cutter” models out in the market.

“One of the distinguishing factors from what I offer is the custom-build aspect,” Miller stated. “I sit with the client and listen so that I can understand their purpose, budget, preferences and requirements. Then I build the specifications of their simulator right in front of them, virtually. Every component of their simulator can be customized.”

Once the specs are finalized, and barring all parts are in stock and available, Miller shared that his typical lead time runs about one week or two. He builds each simulator on-site himself, then delivers and installs the simulator to the client’s home or place of business.

An Exclusive Event Venue

The venue is also ideal for hosting events and parties, offering concessions like pizza, popcorn, beverages, etc. Guests can rent the facility, and once the second floor is complete, it will feature a lounge and VIP area with even more simulators. Whether you’re a casual racer, professional driver or part of an eSports team, the space provides an exceptional training environment.

Based on your preferences and height, Miller customizes the simulators for his members, so the next time you visit, everything will be perfectly set up and ready to go.

“SIMRGEN aims to democratize car racing simulators,” Miller expressed. “I want to make them accessible to anyone passionate about racing by offering flexible options to rent, buy or subscribe to a service where they can use the rigs as long as they like, returning them when they no longer need them. This space [showroom] allows the opportunity for corporate and specialty events, team-building exercises and so on.”

Miller added, “I have such respect and love for this area and for the city of Carmel. We have world-class amenities and education, restaurants, economic development and all the things that people want and care about, especially when raising a family. That is why I wanted to open and grow my business in Carmel.”
