CLAY TERRACE TO HOST ANNUAL BACK 2 SCHOOL BASH ON AUGUST 8

Free, family-friendly event returns to Carmel on Saturday, August 8
 

Clay Terrace is set to host its annual Back 2 School Bash on Saturday, Aug. 8, bringing together local families for a free community celebration ahead of the upcoming school year.

The event will run from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Village Green, located at 14390 Clay Terrace Blvd. It is free and open to the public.

Expected to draw approximately 2,000 attendees from across central Indiana, the family-friendly festival features interactive entertainment, giveaways and hands-on activities designed to kick off the new school year.

Highlights of this year’s lineup include:

  • Touch-a-Truck: Vehicles from the Carmel Fire Department, Carmel Police Department and Carmel Street Department.
  • Mascot appearance: Indiana Pacers mascot Boomer interacting with families.
  • Live music: A “Jump and Hop” performance at noon.
  • Entertainment: Silly Safaris animal shows and face painting.
  • Passport Trail: Children can collect free school supplies across participating locations.
  • Family fun: Interactive activities hosted throughout Village Green.
