What: St. Nikolaus will be coming to the Carmel Christkindlmarkt on December 6th starting at 5:30 pm.

This event will be in partnership with the IUPUI Max Kade German-American Center and the Indiana German Heritage Society. In some areas in Germany when St. Nikolaus visits, you don’t sit on his lap and tell him what you would like for Christmas but rather you prepare to honor him. Some children sing a song, dance or even count or say their A, B, Cs. He will then instruct his helper Ruprecht to give the child a gift!

Children will have an opportunity to present their talents to St. Nikolaus from 6:00 pm – 7:30 pm in our Kinderecke! We hope you can join us!

When: Thursday, December 6th 2018

from 5:30 pm – 7:30 pm.  5:30 – 5:40 PM: Processional of St. Nikolaus and Ruprecht, his helper

5:40 – 5:55 PM: Short program on the stage

6:00 – 7:30 PM: St. Nikolaus greets children in the Kinderecke

7:30 – 9:00 PM: Additional children’s activities in the Kinderecke
