Our Helping Hands Award winner this month is Michael Hoover, who created The Earl D. Hoover Memorial Tournament for Charities. This event was founded in his father’s name after he passed away in 1997 after a long battle with cancer. Earl Hoover served as a Police Officer in Muncie, Indiana for nearly 25 years and his passion was being a musician and playing his Fender Stratocaster guitar. The event strives to carry on that message by rotating the benefiting charity each year so as to touch the lives of as many people and families as possible.
This year’s charitable partner will be the Alzheimer’s Association – Greater Indiana Chapter. The event this year is scheduled for July 23rd.
Congrats to Michael Hoover for being our Helping Hands Award winner and thank you for helping raise funds for charities for so many years while keeping the memory of your Father alive.
